If walking is your thing or you’d like to start doing this more, joining a Mindful Walk course will inspire you. Being able to use your breath to e.g. change your state of mind, your energy level, etc. is one of the interesting benefits of this training. During this course we’ll combine walking techniques with mindfulness practices, to add a different dimension to that simple but vitalizing practice of walking.

Mindful Walk

The aim of this course, five sessions of one and a half hours, is to provide you with more energy and less stress. Not only during your walk, but actually also in everyday life. Each session consists of breathing exercises, mindfulness practices and walking technique. We’ll cover between 3 – 4 kilometres in and around the lovely cite centre of Haarlem.

2nd, 9th, 16th, 23th and 30th: 17.30-19.00 hours.

August 2021

3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st: 9.00-10.30 hours.

Location

Starting point of each session is the Bolwerken. We’ll meet in the grass, underneath the big willow tree next to Dolhuys and the colourful fishies.

Neccessities

Come as you are. Proper shoes and clothing that’s enables you to move your body are highly advisable. Also, a bottle of water could be nice. Especially on sunny days sunblock and a hat are relevant accessories.
